UT Southwestern Empire Plaza 1 & 2 is a full renovation of two existing four-story buildings. UTSW will build out six of the eight floors for use as medical offices, pharmacies, and clinics (approximately 105,000-SF total). The two remaining floors will be unfinished shell space. Existing clinical equipment, computers, and phones at the Bass Center (Towers 1, 2 & 3) will be relocated to Empire Plaza 1 & 2. UTSW will lease the two buildings and the owner will update HVAC systems, elevators, restrooms, and roofs. An emergency generator will be required.
