McKinney ISD McKinney High School Performing Arts Center—McKinney, TX

The 41,000-SF, two-story McKinney High School Performing Arts Center addition is being built with a performance auditorium and 17,630 SF of support spaces, which includes a lobby, 1,000-seat orchestra pit, shop, dressing, and green rooms. A new, 4,900-SF Black Box theater with a classroom, editing/control room, and storage room will also be constructed. The existing performance art space will be renovated to accommodate the relocated choir and dance spaces.

The extension of the existing technology systems is designed to serve the renovated and expanded portion of the campus. This work includes the addition of new technology rooms, cable pathways, network cabling infrastructure, system end devices, and a new auditorium. Each new technology room provides voice and data network coverage for the school renovation and expansion.
