LaGaurdia Airport Aircraft Docking System—New York
By 2030, LaGuardia Airport anticipates 24 million passengers to travel though the airport. The Central Building Replacement Project consists of the redevelopment of the airport’s aging Terminal B as a key element in Governor Cuomo’s master plan to revitalize New York’s transportation infrastructure. The estimated $4 billion project state-of-the-art terminal facility will include a new, 1.3 million square foot, 35-gate terminal building and its associated infrastructure. It will be constructed while the existing terminal remains fully operational.
Moye Consulting is providing design services associated with the $5M+ aircraft visual docking guidance system. This includes both the data network and premise distribution system for the auto-docking units. The auto-docking mounts will be on the building, several fixed boarding bridges, and poles.
