Denver International Airport Concourse A-West Expansion—Denver, CO

The project includes a 12-gate expansion of Denver International Airport’s existing Concourse A. The 4-level, 487,170-SF expansion to the existing Concourse A will include new holdrooms, a new international Arrivals FIS corridor to connect to the existing customs hall, a full basement and will provide gates for both domestic and international air carriers. The adjacent aircraft apron will also be expanded. This project is part of an overall expansion to provide an additional twenty-six gates to the airport’s existing three concourses. The certification goal for the airport is LEED Silver.

Moye Consulting was retained by HNTB for technology and security design, including Premise Distribution Systems (PDS), Voice / Data Networks, Wired and Wireless (Wi-Fi), Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Access Control Systems, Video Surveillance, Security Intercom Systems, Electronic Visual Information Display Systems (EVIDS), Passenger Processing Systems, Public Address System, and Master Antenna Television (MATV).
