Daniel is a registered fire protection engineer in Texas and California. He brings over 25 years consulting engineering and code analysis experience. His work has focused on the design of industrial and commercial fire protection systems design and the analysis and integration of codes and standards. He has a thorough knowledge of the application and enforcement of Uniform/International Building Codes, Fire Codes, Mechanical Codes, and NFPA National Standards. Daniel is also experienced in loss prevention methods as applied to highly protected facilities using engineering guidelines to help reduce the risk of property loss due to fire, weather and/or equipment failure provided by FM Global Data Sheets.
Daniel regularly participates in the development of project work scopes and development and implementation of fire protection system designs from concept through construction phase services. He is a seasoned project manager, skilled in specification writing and review, design team management, His experience in assessments include review of existing fire protection system installations and the evaluation of hazardous materials storage and handling requirements. He is a creative problem solver developing alternative methods for code compliance.
