This 2.1 million-SF project consists of a multilevel parking structure with the capacity for more than 5,000 parking spaces. The nine-level facility includes an elevated passenger walkway connecting the garage to the terminal building. The project was built in two phases.

Moye Consulting provided technology, security, and fire protection services and included accommodation for the new parking control and revenue system (PARCS). Moye Consulting designed the addition of an airport IT room to the existing Garage B parking office and new technology infrastructure for the existing offices and Garages A and B.

To permit the construction of the new garage, design and construction of multiple enabling projects has been required:

• Relocation of a main communications room for the Airport.

• The expansion of the south concession delivery sally port.

• Revisions to the field maintenance building to serve as airport staff quarters also displaced by the new garage. This included design of approximately 4,200’ of communication duct bank and a mile of outside plant fiber.

The garage includes all new data network infrastructure to support installation of many IT systems now and in the future. Systems consist of a parking guidance systems, parking revenue systems, emergency call telephones, access control, video surveillance, and distributed antenna systems supporting cellular, public safety radio, and public Wi-Fi services. Fire protection services included fully automated sprinklers and a fire alarm system.
