Technology Consultant, RCDD – LAX

Dallas/Fort Worth area engineering firm providing innovative technology and special systems design
and consulting services seeks intermediate to senior level Registered Communications Distribution
Designer (RCDD) to join our growing Los Angeles office for work on large SoCal capital projects.


You will become an integral part of our team, and will work alongside other capable, low voltage

  • Review and develop project scopes of work

  • Conduct and document stakeholder meetings to gather and record data

  • Manage project schedules to ensure critical milestones are maintained and met

  • Manage project budgets to profitable completion using our project accounting and timekeeping

  • software

  • Work with other groups/disciplines to ensure project scope, schedule and phasing are clearly

       understood, coordinated and incorporated into design and implementation of projects

  • Develop basis of design reports, floor plans, enlarged plan and detail drawings, riser diagrams

       and equipment schedules

  • Develop detailed design of network physical infrastructure and other low voltage systems

  • Prepare project specifications

  • Draft white papers where necessary to support client decision making

  • Coordinate closely with firm’s Design Manager, Revit, AutoCAD and site survey staff

  • Perform site survey and documentation where necessary, and train others to conduct these


  • Manage in-house project design activities

  • Attend and document design team and client meetings.


Job Requirements:

  • IT infrastructure design experience is required. A/E design experienced is preferred

  • Current BICSI RCDD certification is required

  • Project Management experience and credentials (BICSI RTPM or PMI PMP) desired

  • Experience in large government or aviation projects is desired

  • Additional expertise in the design of other low voltage systems (security, audio visual, life safety)

       is desired

  • Is capable of successfully completing federal background check for security clearance.


Education & Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, from an
accredited college or university; 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design may be
substituted for degree.


This is a direct hire opportunity for permanent employment. Annual wages $70,000 – $140,000
commensurate with experience. Comprehensive firm benefit package: package details are made

Moye Consulting is seeking a mid-level, contract administration professional to join our corporate headquarters in Irving, Texas. This position will assist with the solicitation, award, and administration of service subcontracts and purchase orders for goods, in support of commercial client contracts.


  • Assist project managers with properly responding to requests for pricing proposals, including development of proposal letters and spreadsheets

  • Assist project managers with properly responding to requests for pricing proposals, including development of proposal letters and spreadsheets

  • Assist the project teams with soliciting and selecting qualified suppliers and subconsultants

  • Request/review subcontract proposals for goods and services

  • Support Operations Manager in overhead rate audits

  • Prepare Subcontract and Purchase Order Agreements with appropriate terms and conditions, including Statement of Work and client contract flowdowns, if applicable

  • Provide beginning-to-end administration of time and money (T&M), labor hour, and fixed-price agreements

  • Manage contracts and subcontracts in accounting and timekeeping software modules

  • Perform internal audits of projects’ invoicing processes to assure contract compliance

  • Coordinate and make recommendations to firm principals based on performing reviews of contract agreements and negotiated terms and conditions

  • Prepare and maintain contract files

  • Request and maintain current certificates of insurances as requested by prime consultants and clients

  • Support the Project Manager in resolving any contract related disputes

  • Maintain effective relationships with prime consultants, project team members, management, and support organizations

  • Support the Design Manager in manpower forecasting

  • Provide support and guidance to internal project team concerning contract monitoring and compliance

  • Complete contract closeout activities

  • Administer annual reviews, updates and content development for corporate operations manual

  • Assist Project and Marketing staff on special projects

  • Other duties as requested


  • Appropriate training from a technical school. Architectural, mechanical, or electrical disciplines preferred

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Business Law, Architecture or Engineering is preferred. Previous experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.

  • Related experience, or Paralegal experience is preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of contract administration experience.

  • A team player with strong verbal/written communication and collaboration skills.

  • Detail oriented and quality conscious.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Outlook and Excel, the ability to edit and create PDF documents, and the ability to work with databases and spreadsheet software is required.

  • Prior experience with automated timekeeping and accounting software is desired.
