Byron Nelson High School
Northwest Independent School District (NWISD) located in North Tarrant County, Texas sought to improve and expand student and educator capacity at one of its large and growing high school campuses, Byron Nelson High School.
NWISD selected Perkins + Wills as the architect to lead a large team of consulting firms to address upgrade, replacement, and expansion efforts for comprehensive improvements at the campus. Moye Consulting provided technology and security infrastructure improvement for an expansion of the three-story, 75,000 square-foot high school building to bring the classroom capacity to 3,200 students, the addition of a new Outdoor Field House and improvements to Career & Technical Education and Fine Arts facilities including relocation and expansion of facilities to support the Culinary Arts program.
The project included technology and security infrastructure design to support District-wide projects that included technology device refresh initiatives, and safety and security enhancements. Moye Consulting provided design and construction support services for the IT, communications, security, and public address systems and associated infrastructure.
